Mary currently works in a private school for children with autism and related neurodevelopmental disorders, in addition to providing in-home therapy within the Hoboken area. Mary has extensive experience providing therapy to children and adults with expressive, receptive, and social/pragmatic language needs, articulation/phonological disorders, oral motor disorders, fluency, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Mary is also Level 1 PROMPT trained and experienced in DIRFloortime®, Frances Santore's Sounds in Motion, and Pat Lindamood & Nanci Bell's Visualize and Verbalize curriculum.
Mary believes that collaboration between parents/caregivers, teachers, and other therapeutic providers is essential in every treatment plan. It assures carryover and generalization of skills across environments, therefore helping each child and adult achieve their speech-language goals. Mary also strongly believes in creating positive and trusting relationships with each of her clients, while also using their interests and passions as a way to facilitate growth and success!
In her free time, Mary enjoys yoga, baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
